“He’s got good morals, his head’s in the right place,” Tim told the Fix of Sam Wood.
“He sounds like a good catch.”
Filming for the third season of The Bachelor is underway, with Tasmanian born personal trainer Sam filling the eponymous lead role. Sam has been revealed to be one of Australia’s leading fitness professionalsand is the founder and managing director of Gecko Kids Fitness, which he opened in Brighton, Victoria.
Handsome Bondi chiropractor Tim meanwhile, seemed to have a subtle go at the last Bachelor Blake Garvey when he was asked to give his advice for the next Bachie Sam. “To really get your intention clear before you go on,” Tim said at the 2015 Men’s Health Man gala event in Sydney this week.
The last series’ handsome star Blake became known as something of a love rat after initially proposing to Sam Frost on air before ditching her for runner-up Louise Pillidge. Sounds like one-woman-man Tim was rather disapproving.
He continued: “Don’t go in there if you just want to kiss a bunch of girls or whatever. You want to be open to finding love and be honest. Don’t get swept away in the fairy tale.”
Tim Robards might not be the biggest fan of the last Bachelor Blake Garvey, but they both share a similar history as strippers!
For good measure, the superfit and healthy hunk, added in some typical Tim advice: “Keep it real… sleep when you can, meditate, keep smiling.”
Tim is still going strong with Anna Heinrich, the winning Bachelorette, who has been with him since the first season of the show ended and recently did a stint in the jungle with him on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
“I think people see that we’re in love and we’ve got a great relationship and we’re not about to go running off anytime soon,” Tim said.

We can’t wait to see Sam in action! Hopefully we won’t have to wait long with filming already commenced on the new show, due out later this year.
