Travellers have been met with chaos at Sydney Airport this morning, with flights out of the airport grounded until further notice.
Arrivals are still coming into the airport , but delays have been reported.
Anyone planning to travel out of Mascot Airport is being urged to check their flight and airline to see if it has been affected.
This news could not have come at a worse time with thousands of travellers about to embark on school holiday vacations.
The confusion is being met with outrage by passengers who are taking to social media, to complain about being left in the dark.

The airline confirmed the issue with a tweet: “flights are delayed due to an @AirservicesNews system issue. We appreciate your patience.”
A tweet was issued by Air Services Australia saying they are working to fix the issue and continue to control traffic safely.
It is currently being reported the issue occurred at 5am this morning.
