She might be a woman on a self-imposed exile but Sophie Monk is making sure she doesn’t miss a second of The Bachelorette Australia, 2017 action.
After fleeing to the tropical destination earlier in the week in a bid not to spoil the winner, the 37-year-old and her BFF Oscar Gordon have been living it up in their own private villa.
And between sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun, they’ve managed to set aside some time to watch this week’s installment of The Bachelorette.
On Wednesday evening, Soph shared a hilarious glimpse of her al fresco living room.
Looking straight onto the water, Sophie and Oscar could be seen relaxing on an outdoor lounger with a bottle of champers at the ready.
But it was their homemade “TV” that was worthy of a rose.
In a stroke of genius, the duo propped up their laptop on a pile of books so they could watch the show.

“Best TV stand ever! I knew books came in handy for something,” Sophie laughed in the video she posted to Instagram.
“I can’t remember the last time I read one,” she confessed.
“Stop talking! I want to watch the show,” Oscar fired back.
“Because I have a big mouth and can’t lie I’ve had to evacuate the country and watch @bacheloretteau like this so blessed,” Sophie captioned the video.
What we’d give to be able to hear Sophie’s commentary throughout last night’s dramatic episode, which saw her go on a romantic single date with Apollo, meet four new intruders before sending four more packing.
While Sophie might have the weight of the nation on her shoulders until the grand finale, it seems running away to Thailand is working wonders for the star!
Cutting a healthy and happy figure in a patterned blue Seafolly bikini, we don’t think we’ve ever see her so happy.
“I’m majorly in love. It [The Bachelorette] has been the best thing I’ve ever done. This is the happiest I’ve ever been in my life; I am really f—ing happy,” Sophie recently told Cosmopolitan.
