Meghan’s sister-in-law, Duchess Catherine and even Princess Diana (who would later tell friends she was unhappy and bored during her visit) took part in the royal initiation of visiting the Queen’s favourite summer home.

Royal expert, Richard Fitzwilliam, told the London Express the elusive invite is a big step in becoming a part of the Royal family.

An invitation to Balmoral, where the Queen is expected to remain until September, is traditionally part of the initiation into the Royal family,” Richard Fitzwilliams revealed to the new outlet.

The entire family are expected to head to the Scottish holiday estate including the Cambridge’s, Prince William and Duchess Catherine, who have been enjoying a summer holiday with their three children.

While at the Scottish castle the children will be able to run around and play in the expansive grounds of the picturesque estate.

Also in attendance will be Royal sisters and grandchildren of the Queen, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, their father Prince Andrew, and of course, Meghan’s father-in-law, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.

“I think Granny is the most happy there. I think she really, really loves the Highlands,” the Queen’s granddaughter says.

“It’s the most beautiful place on Earth,” Princess Eugenie said of Balmoral in a previous interview. “I think Granny is the most happy there. I think she really, really loves the Highlands.”

“Walks, picnics, dogs – a lot of dogs, there’s always dogs – and people coming in and out all the time,” she continued.

“It’s a lovely base for Granny and Grandpa, for us to come up and see them up there,” Eugenie revealed.

“You just have room to breathe and run.”

It sounds absolutely perfect for nature-loving Meghan.

“It’s a lovely base for Granny and Grandpa, for us to come up and see them up there,” Eugenie revealed.

It’s not the first time Prince Harry has taken Meghan on a special family holiday to Balmoral.

It’s where The Duke and Duchess of Sussex back in September 2017, to visit the Queen and ask her permission to marry.

And considering how well that worked out, we’re pretty sure Meghan will pass her Royal initiation with flying colours – plus we already know the Queen and Meghan get along like a house on fire.

They had a sleepover! Meghan and The Queen travelled overnight on Her Majesty’s luxury train.

The pair giggled their way through their official outing together back on June 15th. Their first joint engagement was a full day, opening the Mersey Gateway Bridge in Cheshire, the Storyhouse Theater in Chester, and attend a lunch at the Chester Town Hall. And the pair could not have had a more joyous time if they tried.

Let’s just hope the rain stays away for the Royal family vacay, and no doubt it will be a wonderful affair.
