If you’re anything like us, you’ll remember the 1990s as a time of dial-up internet, brick phones, and the hysteria-inducing glory days of the Spice Girls.

Yep, if you weren’t bopping to Stop Right Now and dip dying the ends of your hair bright pink or green (and then styling it in super cool pigtails à la Baby Spice) then did you really live?

We tend to think not, because the hey-day of the Spice Girls was oozing in pure, unapologetic girl power, and leading the force along with her spicy sisters was none other than Victoria Beckham.

As we’ve established, VB was a style muse to be reckoned with.

Going by the name of Posh Spice, the classy Brit was all about the clean, chic cuts mixed with some of the er, out-there trends synonymous with the late 1990s and early 2000s.

These days, the mum-of-four has dialled herself back a tad in the risky fashion stakes, instead opting for safer (and much trendier) pieces whenever she steps out at various elite gatherings.

Oh, and did we mention she’s a fashion designer? Thank goodness she is, because she’s not only nailed the art of dressing herself, but she can also share her classy, glamorous and oh-so posh designs for the world to wear too.

To celebrate one of the world’s biggest style muses, we’ve rounded up Beckham’s best (and at times, worst) fashion moments.

Prepare your eyeballs and start scrolling for a fashion extravaganza that defines everything great and terrible about the last two decades of style.

Victoria will also go out of her way to ensure you never never lose her in a crowd.

We’re going to call it, Victoria owns the world’s greatest collection of red pants.

This pyjama suit, designed by the fashion maven herself is one of her most iconic looks.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why boiler suits are considered farshun.

She really does love a statement pant.

And sometimes, she likes to ditch pants altogether and take the leggings out for a spin.

Another iconic moment – her drape sleeved dress worn to Harry and Meghan’s royal wedding in May 2018.

Is it a hoodie? Is it a wet suit? Is it high fashion? She’s a woman of mystery, this one.

Another day, another outrageously bright pant.

If our mothers saw our pant hems dragging like that they’d have a field day.

We’re into this cream structured maxi skirt. Yes VB!

And the pink is so chic.

As for this strapless creation worn in 2010? Not our favourite, but she could do a lot worse…

We will never forget this, er, brave choice in dress for the 2003 MTV Movie Awards.

Streaks, a bare-midriff and a low-waist pant? It must be 2002. Here’s hoping this trend never sees the light of day again…

Could Posh’s skirt be attempting to defy gravity more than it is in this pic?

(Getty)

Those straightened windswept tresses though! What a time.

We’re not sure what was happening here, but at least she and Becks are colour coordinated.

We’re pretty sure we had this version of Posh Spice as a Barbie doll?? Iconic.
