Renowned Australian model and fitness influencer Steph Claire Smith got married over the weekend, and while her nuptials were a sight to behold, it was her wedding dress that’s really got people talking.
Indeed the 25-year-old model married her long-time boyfriend Josh Miller in what looked to be a beautiful ceremony in Country Victoria on Satuday, with her nearest and dearest surrounding her.
With such an incredible setting, the pictures were always destined to stop us scrolling in our tracks – but her wedding dress’s rather unique twist really stole the show.
When it comes to picking out your dream gown for the big day, it would be natural for any bride to seek a design that flaunts their assets.
For Steph, this couldn’t have rung any truer – the fitness guru picked out a gown that showed off something she is renowned for owning: Her abs.
Yep, in a surprise twist, the model’s wedding dress wasn’t actually a dress as such.
It was, in fact, a white crop top and skirt – very unique!
The non-traditional design was designed by Melbourne-based wedding dress boutique One Day Bridal.
The brand is renowned for its custom and bespoke designs.
Sharing details of the ensemble to their Instagram page, the brand explained the outfit.
“Steph wears a custom @chosenbyoneday Rae Skirt and bandeau created by @k.y.h.a,” the post was captioned.

Like many other modern brides, Steph wore a second look on her wedding day, and once again bared her abs in the beautiful silky design.
Interestingly, the model decided to pair this white gown with none other than a pair of white sneakers – very apt!
Steph’s six bridesmaids, including her business partner and fellow influencer Laura Henshaw, wore dusty pink silk gowns for the big day.
Taking to her Instagram, Steph shared a sweet tribute to her bride tribe alongside a selfie.
“Best bridal party a girl could ask for 💕 Thank you for being so amazing the whole way and for keeping me cool calm and collected before we left for the ceremony. You all mean the world to me,” the bride wrote.
