Her career was rumoured to be in decline after she ended lucrative contracts with Victoria’s Secret and David Jones, but Miranda Kerr has cemented her supermodel status, being crowned the world’s second highest-paid model.
Miranda took out second place in Forbes magazine’s annual list of top-earning models, earning $7.2 million in 2013.
Miranda was beaten to the top spot by Brazilian babe Gisele Bundchen, who topped the list for the seventh consecutive year with earnings of $42 million.
Adriana Lima came in third with earnings of $6 million, followed by Kate Moss ($5.7 million), Liu Wen ($4.3 million), Hilary Rhoda ($4 million), Carolyn Murphy ($3.6 million), Joan Smalls ($3.5 million), Candice Swanepoel ($3.3 million) and Lara Stone ($3.2 million).
