Ellie Goulding’s wedding was a spectacle none of us were quite prepared for.
Stepping out to crowds of adoring onlookers outside York Minster in a dreamy Chloé white gown shortly before she and partner Caspar Jopling tied the knot in September, the world couldn’t stop staring as her wedding quickly turned into a star-studded sight that can only be likened to a royal wedding.
And as if the images from outside the service weren’t already enough for us to ogle at for days, things only got better from there.
In a series of images drip fed to us by various guests, photographers and the bride and groom themselves, we’ve now gathered enough insight to know that this wedding was no small feat for the Starry Eyed singer.
Her second Stella McCartney dress was also an absolute sight to behold – snaps from inside the reception unveiled the gorgeous off-shoulder design to our complete delight.

Wearing an intricate beaded design by Ralph & Russo, Ellie’s third wedding look was perfect for the first dance.
Then came her fourth look, which was a stunning Balmain mini dress, which Ellie herself said she hand picked to “dance the night away in”.

In an Instagram post, Ellie shared a beautiful series of images of herself standing in a grand hallway during her wedding weekend.
“My beautiful dark twisted fantasy,” the singer cryptically wrote.
The beautiful black strapless creation was deigned by Carolina Herrera, and is nothing short of heavenly.
We’ll just be staring at this perfection for the foreseeable future…
Ellie’s fans were clearly on the same wavelength as us, as they flooded the comments section with adoring messages.
“You’re literally a princess in her palace wow,” wrote one fan.
“What a dream,” another said.
As you scroll through the images, we also couldn’t help but notice Ellie’s gorgeous hairstyle – a textured half-up half-down ‘do featuring a long braid.
And thus, our new go-to hairstyle for summer is decided.
