Indeed the trendy 72-year-old has been known to don many a chic design, with her array of designer midi-dresses and handbags being mixed and matched to utter royal perfection.

But it’s her latest look – and the unlikely location she managed to pull it off in – that’s really put the icing on the cake.

Attending the Royal Welsh Show with husband Prince Charles on Monday July 22, Camilla was seen getting right into the thick of things for the agricultural event.

Traipsing across countryside to meet farm animals, checking out a commemorative garden and trying out some interesting local cuisines was just some of the colourful activities the royals partook in during the day, and Camilla certainly took it all in her stride.

She’s already proved she’s a dab hand at these kinds of hands-on events, but we’d also like to think her oh-so-chic outfit was also helpful in making her look like a natural.

Dressed in a pretty pink polka-dot dress, Camilla looked absolutely radiant. But it was actually her coat that she popped on when things got a little chillier that we couldn’t take our eyes off.

But it was her iconic Burberry trench coat that’s really stolen the show.

During the special event, which marked the show’s centenary, Camilla and Charles watched an amazing military display by members of the Zulu ‘impi’ regiment with King Goodwill and Queen Mpumi.

The future King and Queen Consort spoke with members of the regiment, with Prince Charles telling the Zulu King: “You haven’t aged a bit”.

The pair had last met in November 2011.
