Barack Obama has gotten away with a feat no woman could’ve – he has worn the same tuxedo for the past eight years.

And yes, no-one noticed.

Michelle revealed this quirky detail about her husband at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference on Tuesday, where she was giving a talk.

“Now, people take pictures of the shoes I wear, the bracelets, the necklace – they didn’t comment that for eight years he wore that same tux, same shoes,” Michelle explained.

“This is the unfair thing.”

Michelle even went on to say that Barack was pretty smug with this secretive achievement, and would rub it in.

“He was proud of it too. He’s like, ‘Mmm, I’m ready. I’m ready in 10 minutes. How long did it take you?’ I’m like, ‘Get out of here.'”

What might be laughed off as a fashion faux pas is really a symbol of inequality, as Karl Stefanovic explained after he wore the same suit, on air, every day for a whole year without anyone saying anything!

Same Karl, same suit.

TODAY show co-host Karl was angered by the sexism he saw being heaped upon his female colleagues, so he decided to conduct an experiment.

Karl wore the same cheap Burberry knock-off suit, every morning and waited for the complaints to roll in. After none did, he waited 12 months before revealing his experiment to the public.

“No-one has noticed; no-one gives a s–t,” Karl told Fairfax Media.

“But women, they wear the wrong colour and they get pulled up. They say the wrong thing and there’s thousands of tweets written about them.”

Karl continued to criticise the media and the public for focusing on what women wear, not what they say.

“Women are judged much more harshly and keenly for what they do, what they say and what they wear.”

We wonder if Obama wore the same suit when he met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for a lunch date?

The iconic leaders and buddies met at a restaurant in Montreal, Canada to discuss youth community involvement, and set the internet ablaze with their casual meeting.

Maybe next time they’ll invite Karl for lunch and they can talk suits? The internet can only hope.
