EXCLUSIVE: The Block’s Georgia talks bullying and how she handles the haters!

Not only have The Block's Ronnie and Georgia been slammed by their fellow contestants, the couple has also been attacked by trolls on social media.

The scathing online attacks have really shaken Georgia, 33, who says she worries about the impact on her children.

There’s no question Perth’s Ronnie and Georgia are the most competitive couple The Block has ever seen. But in an OK! exclusive, Georgia says the bullying has gone too far, and she’s now fearful for her kids.

“Our family is our motivation,” say Ronnie and Georgia, pictured here with their two youngest children, Leo, four, and Charlotte, two.

While the renovating pros, who flipped ten properties prior to going on the show, are getting slammed by their fellow contestants, it’s not her rivals’ “bullying crap” that has mum Georgia worried…

Rather, it’s the nasty online trolls.

“I don’t know how people can spew such hatred towards people they don’t even know,” she admits.

The mum-of-three has been subject to scathing online attacks along with her plasterer husband Ronnie, 41.

“It’s bad, it’s really bad and it’s made me worry for my children,” she shares. “To think my kids will have to grow up in this social media world and possibly have to deal with online bullying is scary,” she adds.

The hate has been hurtful for the competitive duo, but they are coping by “not reading anything” online.

“People need to understand that there’s a person behind that face on TV and they actually have feelings,” says the children’s clothing designer.

Despite the backlash, Georgia says she is happy with how she and her husband played the game. “We are honest and up-front, and it may be a little confronting at first, but at least you know where we stand.”
