If you’re in need of some summer hair inspiration, look no further!
Love Island‘s Cartier Surjan may have been pipped at the post to win the show, but she is well and truly nailing the beauty stakes after debuting her new blonde locks.
Taking to Instagram, the 19 year-old lifeguard shared two pictures of her new, considerably lighter hair smiling at the camera.
“Stepping into summer the right way 🌞#goodchange @lisaanngreen.goldie,” she captioned the post.
And we’re not the only ones loving her new look. Cartier’s former Love Island co-stars were also quick to comment on her transformation, but there was no word from her on-screen boyfriend, Matthew Zukowski.

“Brooooo, that looks 🔥🔥❤️ ,” third-place’s Aaron Shaw commented, hot off the heels with his break up with Cynthia Taylu.
“Looking unreal,” Cassie Lansdell also posted, following her compliment with three fire emojis.
“My twin 😍😍😍,” the show’s winner Anna McEvoy commented.
Even last year’s winner Tayla Damir complimented her with a simple: “Love it 😍”

The couple are currently living in different states with Matthew in Melbourne but fans certainly noticed that he hadn’t commented on Cartier’s stunning selfies.
“Matt?????” one frantically questioned while another asked “@mattzukowski well are you gonna hype her up or ?”
Guess we’ll have to wait and see where this relationship goes…
Are things already over between Cartier and Matt?

However in an exclusive chat with Now To Love, Josh remarked that it was “still early days for Matt and Cartier so obviously they have a few challenges ahead of them because at the beginning they didn’t spend much time together.”
“I’m hoping that works out for them but whatever happens, just wish them both the best moving forward,” he added.
