Talk about a blast from the past!
As Kylie Minogue, 47, stepped out for a romantic date night in Mayfair, London with her hubby-to-be over the weekend, she channelled the hairdo of her younger self and beloved Neighbours character, Charlene.
Sporting a tight spiral perm, the pint-sized superstar hit the town with fiancé Joshua Sasse – a handsome actor who happens to be 19-years her younger at 28.
Still got it! The star doesn’t look a day beyond her Neighbours era.
The look immediately reminded fans of the years the superstar spent playing Charlene on the long-running TV show, Neighbours, 30 years ago.
But instead of Charlene’s colourful, mismatched ‘80s wardrobe, the Spinning Around singer donned a chic, black top and pants, topped off by a pair of bedazzled heels.
Her spouse-to-be opted for a more relaxed look with a pair of stonewashed jeans, brown boots and a military-inspired khaki shirt.
Perhaps Kylie’s best accessory was the glitzy diamond that sat proudly on her left hand.
The songbird met the bearded beau whilst filming on the set of Galavant in September 2015. Two months later their relationship was confirmed.
In February of this year, Kylie and the actor – who was just days old when Kylie released her first single I Should Be So Lucky in December 1987 – confirmed their impending nuptials in an announcement inside the Daily Telegraph.

“The engagement is announced between Joshua, son of the late Dominic Sasse and of Mary Heale (nee Macauley), of Herefordshire, and Kylie, eldest daughter of Ronald and Carol Minogue, of Melbourne, Australia,” the statement read.
The announcement was met with much excitement – mostly on behalf of Kylie and her happiness, but also for the dazzling engagement ring that now sits proudly atop her fourth finger.
This diamond would surely be a girl’s best friend!
