The Duchess of Cambridge was apparently so horrified by pictures that showed her grey hair she spent $1000 on an emergency six-hour salon visit.
Kate stepped out with some silver strands last month and while we thought she looked lovely, the Duchess was reportedly aghast.
Royal expert Katie Nicholl reports Kate immediately called London’s luxurious Rossano Ferretti hair spa and booked a marathon appointment for the next day.
She arrived shortly after midday in a car with black tinted windows and was whisked up to the salon’s VIP suite, where a specialist cut, coloured and treated Kate’s famous locks.
The Duchess emerged at 6pm with her trademark glossy waves looking better than ever.
“She looked amazing,” a witness who saw Kate leaving the salon told the Mail on Sunday. “She was dressed in a tartan cape and was made up. Her hair looked fabulous, really big and glossy, and it was flowing around her shoulders.”
Kate showed off the results of her makeover at the SportsAid gala last week, where her hair appeared shinier and healthier than it has in months.
