Deborah Mitchell, founder of luxury skincare range Heaven, has revealed the favourite skin treatments of a range of high-profile clients, including some of the royal family.

Deborah’s products are famed for the “buzz” that surrounds them as they contain bee venom – a natural non-invasive anti-ageing alternative to Botox.

Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, was the first to introduce Deborah’s bee venom products to the royals, and Duchess Catherine soon became a convert. Kate was such a big fan, she invited Deborah to attend her 2011 royal wedding.

“Someone that knew Camilla tried the treatment and then after that, I was asked to go to the palace,” Deborah tells Hello!. “It was really nice. The funny thing is, I don’t get blown over by treating famous people. It was nice but a bit surreal really. I felt like I was walking in a dream so I appeared really cool. Sometimes now I still think, actually I should really pinch myself.”

So what are the royal women really like? “Camilla is the kindest, kindest person. Kate is absolutely gorgeous and remarkably on the quiet side. She’s so sweet though and she hasn’t got many spots. I’ve seen Kate and William together and they’re just wonderful.”

Deborah says she met Prince Harry, who is “wonderful too”, although he is yet to join in on the treatments himself!

Like Catherine, Camilla enjoys the uber-premium black and gold bee venom masks but she also loves orange flower cell renewal hydrogel and the silk skin BB cream.

Another rather POSH fan of the bee venom treatments is Victoria Beckham. Deborah says: “Victoria’s been using Heaven for years and years,” said Deborah. “She used the age defiance cream first and then the bee venom came along and she used that. We sent off six bottles at one time.” She also likes the posh Ellajane face wipes.

Deborah says that Australia’s own Dannii Minogue, 43, ” is probably my super favourite client.” The pop star reportedly loves the whole line of Heaven beauty products but is particularly fond of the fragrance.

Deborah has male fans too, including Simon Cowell – whom she described as having “a very enigmatic personality,” and Robert Downey Jr. who she called “really clever and really nice.”
