Beyonce may be the head of her own small empire, but it’s refreshing to know she’s not always perfect – as revealed by recently leaked photos that show the star without retouching.

With her multi-platinum selling portfolio of smash-hit singles, luxury homes, impeccable wardrobe, gorgeous family and amazing lifestyle, it’s easy to think Beyonce is practically perfect in every way.

Of course though Bey doesn’t do it without a little help – including retouching her photos.

A series of images from Beyonce’s 2013 L’Oreal cosmetic campaign were leaked by, of all places, a Beyonce fan site called The Beyonce World.

The images show the star’s skin in all its untouched glory with a few more blemishes and lines than what we usually see.

Celebrities caught out retouching their photos

Of course, being Beyonce, she still looks ten times more stunning than the rest of us mere mortals though, and many fans were quick to jump to her defence on social media.

No comment has been released from the star herself but no doubt many will no doubt be noting the irony of her song “Flawless” and it’s famous lyrics, “I woke up like this”.

It’s not the first time that Beyonce has been accused of heavily altering her photos either, as revealed multiple times it seems the star even retouches her Instagram snaps.

Oh Bey, when will you learn, we already think you’re amazing just as you are!

Images have leaked from Beyonce’s 2013 L’Oreal cosmetic campaign showing the star before retouching.

The leaked images paint a very different picture to the final images that appeared in the campaign.

It’s refreshing though to see the usually “flawless” star looking fallible afterall – which is rather ironic, given that the campaign was for L’Oreal’s “Infallible” collection!

While the bright lights of the photo-shoot understandably show up more imperfections than usual, being Beyonce, she still looks ten times more stunning than the rest of us mere mortals!

Many fans were also quick to jump to her defence on social media, with one fan saying on Twitter: “She still looks better than me on most days!”

Beyonce herself has released no comment on the image leak as yet.

No doubt many will now be noting the irony of her song “Flawless” and it’s famous lyrics, “I woke up like this”.

It’s not the first time that Beyonce has been accused of heavily altering her photos either, she also came under fire when she shared this sexy swim suit snap to her website.

When Beyonce shareed this snap last, it seemed that her thighs had been retouched to make it appear as though there was a larger gap between them than what there actually was. If you look closely you can see the lines of the stairs between her thighs do not match up with the lines on the outside.

These Instagram snaps of her playing golf in a bikini also came under fire as they seemed to display a disproportionately large thigh gap.

Beyoncé also posted this shot to Instagram in which she appears to have morphed solid objects. Experts say that features such as this are a clear indication of digital image manipulation.

After posting these pics of her very slender looking waist to her Tumblr page, Beyonce was been accused (not for the first time) of having her images retouched to make herself appear thinner.

Bey’s waist seems TINY in this snap compared to her booty and thighs.

If you look closely at the image it seems that her waist has been digitally altered by pulling it in, giving her arm an unnaturally flat look where her elbow crease and muscles disappear entirely.
