Bachelor In Paradise‘s Megan Marx has finally answered the question on everybody’s lips: Why does her face look so different lately? The blonde beauty who found love on the Fijian island with Bachelorette star Jake Ellis, revealed on Instagram on Thursday she has undergone plastic surgery procedures, including a nose job and a lip lift, to alter her appearance.
The 29-year-old used a recent snap of herself and Jake to share her personal cosmetic surgery journey.
“‘Why do you look different?’ — a question that’s popped up a lot on my socials over the last two months,” she began her post.
“After a lot of consideration (and excitement), I had rhinoplasty and a lip lift with @drzacharia (Thank you Dr btw! You’re amazing).”
Megan opened up about her facial cosmetic surgery on social media. Previously she spoke to NW magazine about her secret boob job.
“I’m preparing a blog to detail my whole experience which will go live next week — so fire away with any specific questions you might have that I can answer!”
“Jake was amazing through the whole experience (I’ll include the budgie smuggler dance entertainment he committed to while I was bandaged up).”
Megan shared her rhinoplasty and lip lift results with NW magazine.
After trialing a temporary “liquid nose job” which uses facial fillers to alter the shape of your nose, Megan underwent a rhinoplasty to reduce the size of her nose.
“I like to eat healthy and work out, but no matter how much of that you do, your nose doesn’t get any smaller,” she previously told NW.
Megan’s social media followers spotted a change in her appearance.
The facial plastic surgeon behind her new look, Dr Michael Zacharia, explained that resizing Megan’s nose she required a lip lift to to restore balance to her facial features.
“When the nose is reduced in size the distance between the nose and lips is increased and sometimes it can cause the face to look unbalanced. This simple combination of procedures ensures harmony of the facial features,” he wrote on Instagram.

What is a lip lift?
A lip lift reshapes the lips, making the pink border, known as the vermilion border, more prominent and therefore lips look fuller.
What happens during a lip lift?
While under a local anesthetic, a lip lift surgery involves the removal of skin between the upper lip and nose, and lifting the upper lip which increase the top lip’s total area. As a result of the top lip being lifted, the bottom lip appears more full than previously.
The procedure usually takes between 30 and 90 minutes.

How much does a lip lift cost?
