Zara Tindall can’t wait to be a mother-of-two

The expectant royal is hoping for a smooth pregnancy similar to that of her first child.

It was only last week that Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter, Zara Tindall, announced she was expecting her second child with husband Mike.

Opening up of the exciting announcement to Stellar, the Olympian quipped: “Mike and I are over the moon to be welcoming another little one into the family.”

The 35-year-old explained the ease she’s experienced so far throughout her second pregnancy, and only hopes that baby number two will be as “good” as the couple’s first daughter Mia, two.

“So far, things seem to be on track. I feel great and Mia was such a good baby — we have got our fingers crossed for the second time around.”

The sweet family is preparing to welcome their newest addition.

The soon-to-be mother-of-two and her rugby star hubby confirmed they were welcoming a sibling for their darling first-born in an official statement from the palace that read: “The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh and members of the Royal family are delighted with the news.”

The Monarch’s sixth great-grandchild, who is due in April, is already loved by the couple’s family, friends and fans, who took to Twitter with congratulatory messages upon hearing the news.

Thanking everyone for their kind words, 38-year-old Mike shared: “Just a quick one to say thank you for the messages. We are very very happy about the little one on its way. 2017 is already starting well!!”

In the same, candid interview, the daughter of Princess Royal Anne and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips, also spoke out about her fondness for Australia.

Upon the mention of the 2017 Magic Millions Carnival – an annual, week-long equestrian event that take place on Queensland’s Gold Coast, Zara, who has been an ambassador since 2012, positively lit up.

“To come to Australia once a year in summer for this race is even better. This is the country I always loved touring the most – I love the people and the laid-back lifestyle. And the sun.”

The couple agree that the aspect of Aussie life they find the most enjoyable is our ability to laugh.

“I like the Aussie sense of humour, full stop. It’s all about giving people a hard time!”
