At just 16-years-old he’s already got a name for himself.
Well, a few names.
While Felipe Juan Froilán de Todos los Santos de Marichalar y Borbón is his full – and royally approved – name, the others are much shorter.
Don Froilán is called “Pipe” by his friends, and “the brattiest royal” by many news outlets this morning, after the fourth-in-line to the Spanish throne allegedly hurled racially abuse at a young girl.
While on a school trip at the Parque de Atracciones the King of Spain’s nephew was waiting in line for The Abyss ride, when he became fed up with waiting.
After pushing his way through the queue “Pipe” was told by staff he couldn’t skip the line, according to Spanish newspaper, El Economista.
The 16-year-old reportedly reminded staff of his royal status but was told again by staff that would not help him skip the queue.
When a young girl from another school group told “Pipe” to give up, the 16-year-old allegedly shouted back at her: “You shut up, you f*cking chino.”
Chino is a derogatory slur used in Spain towards people of Chinese descent.
The racial abuse comes after a string of bad behaviour from the young royal who failed exams twice, according to news.com.au and notoriously throws tantrums.
