After a busy day of official engagements in Dundee, Scotland, the couple drove to their old neighbourhood and checked in to the luxury Old Course Hotel.

Kensington Palace announced the romantic evening with a retro snap of the couple in St Andrews in their university days.

Hello! magazine reports they enjoyed a quiet dinner in one of the hotel’s restaurants before retreating to their suite, presumably for a blissful night of sleep uninterrupted by Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
