Prince William has revealed he and Kate hope to bring their new son Prince George to Australia next year.
The Duke of Cambridge let slip his travel plans while chatting with Australian couple Max and Maxine Davies at the Anglesey county fair in Wales yesterday.
“George is doing really well, thank you,” William told the couple, who hail from Victor Harbour, near Adelaide. “We are all very hopefully coming to Australia next year.”
If the trip goes ahead, it would mirror the trip William made when he was just a baby himself.
Prince Charles and Princess Diana travelled to Australia in 1983 with William in tow. He was less than one year old at the time.
William also opened up about his first few weeks of fatherhood, and the personality of his little boy.
“He’s pretty loud but of course very good looking,” William said. “I have to say that I thought Search and Rescue duties were physically and mentally demanding, but looking after a three-week-old baby is up there!”
