Their visit to Harry’s homeland was for a mini tour which has also taken them to Germany.

For the Sussex’s first stop, Meghan addressed a crowd of 2000 at the One Young World summit in what would turn out to be a controversial speech.

“It is very nice to be back in the U.K.,” Meghan told the crowd.

The couple then flew to Dusseldorf Germany to launch the duke’s 2023 Invictus Games.

Considering they are back across the pond, many royal observers have questioned whether or not they will visit their royal relatives.

But it seems unlikely that the Sussexes will cross paths with their family.

Speaking to The Today Show, The Mirror’s royal editor Russell Myers confirmed the couple will not be visiting the royal family.

“Prince Charles did indeed invite them to stay with him up at Balmoral with the Queen, but so far they have refused,” he said.

“So they will be skipping a meeting with the Queen, which is quite sad to be honest.”

While Meghan and Harry have been venturing out on their own, The Queen – who hadn’t been seen in a while until recently – has officially sworn in the 56th British Prime Minister, Liz Truss, at Balmoral castle.

Not only was her right hand bruised, the monarch relied on a walking stick throughout the visit.

As The Queen has been grappling with mobility issues, her recent appearances have often been altered or even cancelled to accommodate for her declining health.

One of the last times we saw Her Majesty in action was during her monumental Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Harry and Meghan were also in attendance for the festivities. It was the last time the Sussex’s have been seen with the royal family.

In recent weeks, the couple have copped criticism for comments they have made alluding to the monarchy.

Meghan’s profile in The Cut in particular sparked much conversation, in which she claimed that Harry had “lost his father” and glossed over whether she would “forgive” her in-laws.

“I think forgiveness is really important. It takes a lot more energy to not forgive,” she said. “But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I’ve really made an active effort, especially knowing that I can say anything.”

“I have a lot to say until I don’t. Do you like that? Sometimes, as they say, the silent part is still part of the song.”
