Why Kate and Wills wont be joining the Middleton family holiday

Carole and Michael Middleton are on holiday in the Caribbean, but Kate and Wills are staying at home

Carole and Michael Middleton arrived in the Caribbean last week for their annual holiday. But unlike previous years, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge will not be joining them.

HELLO! speculate that Kate and Wills have decided to stay at home to focus on their young family. Prince George started attending the Westacre Montessori school recently and his parents are unlikely to disrupt his new routine.

Likewise, Princess Charlotte who is now nine months old would have been disrupted by the long flight and the four-hour time difference.

William also has commitments in the UK – his job at the East Anglia Air Ambulance and other royal engagements.

Of course it wont be long until the Duke and Duchess embark on a tour of India – their first official tour since their three day stay in New York in December 2014. The royal couple will also be at the forefront of the Queens 90th birthday celebrations.

“They want to play a full role in supporting the Queen’s service to the country and to the Commonwealth in her 90th year,” an insider told HELLO!.

“Supporting the Queen is a top priority for them and they will play a full part in joining her for major events.”
