It might be his Gan Gan’s big birthday bash but Prince George didn’t look too pumped about all the fuss when he joined his family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the RAF flyover at the end of Trooping the Colour, 2017.
The royal rascal slumped his head in his hands and pulled a rather unimpressed face – reminding the world exactly why we adore him!
But his nonchalant nature is just like his dad’s at the same age. Yep, in 1988 Prince William was very indifferent about Trooping the Colour.
Meanwhile his little sister Princess Charlotte, two, was getting into the spirit of the day and happily waved to the crowds.
Perched on her mother, The Duchess of Cambridge’s hip, the adorable princess has grown up so much! And her shiny brunette locks remind us exactly of her mum’s princess perfect tresses.
Dressed in a polka-dot pink dress with frilled sleeves and burgundy leather buckle-up shoes, Charlotte was on her best behaviour for the historical event.
George looked the picture of old school sweetness in a white Peter Pan-collared shirt, maroon shorts and matching suspenders.
By far the cutest moment of the day was when the royal siblings tried out their wave! George pepped up and enthusiastically waved his hands about as his little sister copied him.
At one point, the George started to gesture his hands around like a musical conductor before turning to his dad and smiling.
Earlier in the day, the royals arrived for the parade on horse-drawn carriages.
The Duchess of Cambridge opted for a stylish pink dress by Alexander McQueen dress and a matching hat by Jane Taylor.
The 91-year-old monarch looked resplendent in a powder blue ensemble, which she teamed with a classic pearl necklace, white gloves and a silver brooch.
Other royal family members in attendance included Prince Andrew and his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
Prince Charles, Prince William and Princess Anne arrived on horseback.
