Will the Thomas Markle debacle ever end? Well, Kensington Palace are reportedly in talks to put an end to it.
According to a report from British newspaper, The Mirror, advisers have held at least three top-level crisis meetings and have narrowed it down to three approaches to stop all the drama with the Duchess of Sussex’s father.

Thomas Markle made a name for himself by staging paparazzi photos and then speaking in a tell-all interview on British national television.
According to a royal speaking to The Mirror, Duchess Meghan has been “deeply hurt” by everything that has happened since she joined the royal family in May and now has three possible options to deal with the situation.
“Firstly, Meghan could contact her father straight away and appeal to him directly to ask him to stop hurting her, but right now she’s decided to cut him off,” the insider told the publication.
Thomas Markle claims that the last time he spoke to his daughter was before the royal wedding in May but since then, the two have not spoken, especially after speaking to Good Morning Britain.
The source revealed that the second option is that “an intermediary could meet with him and appeal to him to stop making such hurtful statements.”
Meghan has had the support of celebrities as well as members of the royal family such as her sister-in-law, Duchess Catherine.
In fact, royal expert Phil Dampier told The Daily Express that the Queen herself could be the chief mediator if this second option goes ahead as “it is getting out of control.”
“If this carries on I wouldn’t be surprised if the Queen herself gets involved and bangs a few heads together.”
The final and most drastic option is for Meghan to allegedly cut ties with her father completely in the hope that this will stop.
However the insider warns “the situation is so precarious no one knows when that would be.”
Meghan has had the support of royals including sister-in-law, Duchess Catherine.
Meghan’s relationship with her father was already fractured, but when Thomas Markle took aim at Harry’s late mother, Diana, he may have sabotaged himself for the last time.
“They have Meghan treating her father in a way that Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, would have loathed,” he told The Daily Mail. “That’s not what Diana stood for.”
“Princess Diana is credited with changing the Royal Family, but she wasn’t perfect. She was still very much one of them.”
“I think Meghan’s the one who’ll bring them into the 21st Century, if they’ll let her.”
