Members of the royal security team at Kensington Palace purchased a bespoke mural for the little one-year-old.
Created artist Lucy Tapper, the lilac mural is filled with special facts about the day she was born, May 2nd 2015.
According to People, the gift features the little tot’s full name, Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, the date and time of her birth, her 3.7kg weight, her Emerald birth stone, star sign of Taurus and her lily of the valley birth flower.
Lucy chatted to People musing, “I like to imagine it there on her nursery wall while she is playing there. She is such a gorgeous little thing.”
“It is an artistic way of displaying all the important things about the day that the baby was born,” she added.
“Each one is completely unique because it has a combination of facts about the day and the baby.”
Lucy, a mum-of-two, revealed the gift was ordered for the Princess’ first birthday.
“It was the most exciting order we had ever had!”
Speaking to The Sun, she quipped, “We sent the print, along with a card and we received a letter of thanks from the office of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.”
The crafty mum was inspired by her own daughters Daisy, 9, and Holly, 7, to create the fun items for her business From Lucy.
“I am just a mummy in Devon and originally created for my own children as a commemoration of their birth and started to sell it,” she said.
“It started as a mum for her children and ended up on a princess’s wall – but then again all children are princesses!”
It is believed that Prince George also has a matching mural.
“We presumed it was either a gift or was just something for a super fan — we weren’t sure, but since this order came through we think it might have been for Prince George”, she revealed.
