While touring Christchurch, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took some time out to once again show their competitive sides, taking to the cricket pitch for a quick game with a group of local cricketers.
The fun-loving royals thrilled the crowd as they bowled to each other.
“Good ball,” the future-king was heard saying after missing the first bowl from his wife.
William later made up for his shameful performance with two high shots.
The last time Prince William visited Christchurch, it lay in ruins after a powerful earthquake toppled buildings and left streets covered with bricks, shattered concrete and debris.
Now, three years on, the Prince returns – this time with his lady in red by his side.
The couple have spent most of this morning touring the city, which was ravaged by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake in February 2011.
They also stopped into the Botanic Gardens for the official opening of a new, giant glasshouse-shaped $16.4 million visitor centre.
