Duchess Catherine is proving that third time is really the charm when it comes to pregnancy.
The glowing royal seems to be very content as she nears closer to her April due date – and she’s making the most of this time.
Just one day after stunning in her green Jenny Packham gown at the BAFTAs, the 36-year-old was joined by 53-year-old Sophie, the Countess of Wessex at a grand soiree in Buckingham Palace.
The dear chums co-hosted the Commonwealth Fashion Exchange reception – an initiative that seems designers and creators from the 52 countries under Commonwealth make a one-of-a-kind sustainable outfits.
The unique designs certainly were dazzling, but as expected it was the pregnant mum that caught everyone’s attention.
Kate rocked a black-and-white lace floral print dress by UK designer Erdem.
Sophie also kept with the British theme donning Burberry.
The high-profile event saw fashion royalty Anna Wintour and Stella McCartney among the guests.

Paying tribute to his Danish roots, Prince Philip wears the Order of the Elephant, Denmark’s highest-ranking honour. The 96-year-old was born the Prince of Denmark and Greece and has held a long affiliation with his heritage.

Prince Charles attended the opening of his new Prince’s Trust centre in Bristol. The trust helps 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives.
The royal couldn’t help but have a little chuckle at the meeting, which saw him meet with an astronaut who is an ambassador of the trust.
