Prince George’s already very stylish wardrobe yesterday received a boost from his Grandmother, Queen Elizabeth as she gifted him with a collection of new clothes from historic British fashion house John Smedley.
The Queen was touring the county of Derbyshire in England, accompanied by her husband, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh when the couple visited the knitwear label’s historic factory and were presented with a selection of specially made children’s clothes by the label.
The Royal couple were given a tour of the factory, which is celebrating it’s 230th anniversary this year. While there, they met with some of the 400 workers who are currently employed there and were shown how the garments are cut and made. The Queen showed a particular interest in the industrial knitting machines as well as some of the historic archived garments.

She was presented with a favourite garment of hers, which she regularly purchases while the Duke also received a midnight blue sweater. Prince George meanwhile, received a selection of Rhino polo shirts and Aardvark sweaters.
The young Prince has already received more gifts before his first birthday than many of us receive in a lifetime! We’re sure this latest one will keep him on top as the most stylish Royal.
