While most of us are celebrating and starting to envision the jaw-dropping majesty that will be the next Royal Wedding, one man has started a conspiracy theory about the Royal engagement that has captured the attention of the Internet more effectively than videos of large cats sitting in small boxes.

Greg Pollowitz, an American editor with an impressive online audience tweeted the following last night:

“Prince Harry’s kids will be Americans. What if one grows up to be president and is in line for the throne at the same time? Brits are playing long-ball here, but it’s a smart move. They want America back and this is how they’ll do it.”

Wait, what?

While the comment was no doubt just a bit of light-hearted fun, the reaction to the conspiracy theory has been blown up with people from all around the world getting involved.
