The Duke and Duchess have been off-duty recently, taking some time out of the spotlight at the Queen’s Balmoral estate in Scotland with their son Prince George.

But the royal pair will soon return to public life with Kensington Palace confirming they will travel to Wales for “Wales away day” over the weekend.

Their visit will include a trip to the Valero Pembroke Refinery, marking the 50th anniversary since it was opened by The Queen Mother in 1964. The sport-loving pair will also attend the Rugby Union International match between Wales and Australia at the Millennium stadium in Cardiff.

Duchess Catherine, who is proving to be one busy mum-to-be, will then attend a solo engagement on November 12.

The sporty Duchess, who is pregnant with her second child, will attend a sports workshop run by youth charity SportsAid, of which she is a patron.

Catherine will attend a sports day in West London similar to an event she attended last year after giving birth to Prince George.

Catherine attends the SportsAid event in 2013.

William and Catherine have been balancing family time and their royal duties recently, as Catherine makes a steady return to public life.

After announcing her second pregnancy, Catherine was bedridden for more than six weeks due to Hyperemisis Gravidarum, or acute morning sickness.
