Despite being just weeks away from having her second child, Catherine the Duchess of Cambridge continued to carry out her royal duties, standing by her husband’s side as they met with cadets during a visit to the 1st Battalion Irish Guards in England.

Looking flawless in a coat by Catherine Walker and a matching hat by milliner Lock & Co, it appeared the Duchess had finally popped, showing off her growing baby belly.

The Duchess presented the Irish guards with their St Patrick’s Day shamrock, chatted to the crowds of people gathered to see her and even took an official photo with the Irish Guards.

It has been a busy few weeks for the Duchess, who has spent time meeting the cast of Downton Abbey, visiting the Turner Contemporary Art Museum and attending official royal engagements with the royal family.

As the royal birth gets closer, bets are at an all time high that little Prince George will soon have a little sister! But only time will tell as Catherine enters the final weeks of her pregnancy!
