Kate, 35, will step out for the glittering event held at The Orangery at Kensington Palace on Tuesday 7 November, in her role as patron of the mental health charity. There, she will meet with families who are being supported by the initiative and learn more about their latest projects.

The palace announced the appearance ahead of time, suggesting that the royal — who is currently pregnant with her third little prince or princess — is feeling well enough to schedule and keep forthcoming engagements.

The Duchess has been forced to miss a number of important events in recent weeks — including her son’s first day at school — owing to extreme morning sickness or ‘hyperemesis gravidarum,’ the same nasty condition she battled while pregnant with four-year-old son, George and two-year-old daughter, Charlotte.

The mum-to-be recently made her return to public life, a whopping six weeks since the announcement of her third pregnancy.

Alongside husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry, the beloved royal stepped out in honour of World Mental Health day — attending an event at Buckingham Palace to celebrate those working in the mental health sectors across the UK.

The 35-year-old showed off a hint of a baby bump in a powder blue lace dress designed by London-based brand Temperley. She accented the midi-length cocktail number with a simple pair of black pumps and a coordinating clutch bag.

It’s understood the royal was 12 weeks pregnant at the engagement.

Although still suffering from extreme morning sickness, Kate appeared relaxed throughout the evening.

Of course, her tiny baby bump was the focus of attention!

Kensington Palace announced that the much-loved royal couple were expecting their third baby in a statement released on 4 September.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child,” the palace said.

“The Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news.”

“As with her previous two pregnancies, The Duchess is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum. Her royal highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Hornsey Road Children’s Centre in London today.”

It concluded: “The Duchess is being cared for at Kensington Palace.”
