Go for a pint or two at Adam & Eve in Westminster

One does love a drink!

This pub dates back to the 1700s and is just minutes from the palace grounds in which the royals hold memorials, garden parties and other official biz. The Queen herself has been spotted having a tipple here so it’s the ideal place for an ale and some fish and chips.

Fit for a duchess! This is where Catherine spent the night before her 2011 wedding to Prince William,

You have to stay somewhere, so why not make it the hotel where Duchess Catherine spent the night before her wedding?

These luxury digs are every bit the quintessential English lodging. The hotel’s kitchen was charged with baking Prince Charles’ christening cake, so it’s long been a royal fave. Prince Harry famously jumped from one of the hotel’s balconies the night before his brother’s royal wedding.
