Samantha Markle has been known for her constant swipes as half-sister Meghan, but on the Duchesses’ 37th birthday, the 53-year-old appeared to hit a new low.

In a cruel jab, Samantha took to Twitter to write: “Happy Birthday Meg! It would be so lovely and appropriate of you to send DAD a BELATED birthday card for his July 18th Cheers,” adding a birthday cake emoji.

Their father, Thomas Markle, celebrated his 74th birthday last month and has since spoken to the media about his distress that he has not seen Meghan for over two months.

At that time, Samantha went on a tirade saying that if their father dies it was “on her.”

She also claimed last week that Meghan Markle had become cold since marrying into the British Royal family.

In response to an article that Harry and Meghan would be “taking a step away from the media spotlight,” Samantha retaliated with the jibe: “OK so Cruella de Vil is retreating LOL. Let me know how that works out for you.”

The mother-of-three says the last time she spoke to Meghan was in 2015.

“I was concerned about my father and I called her in Canada. Her last words were ‘nice to talk to you babe, let’s keep in touch.'”

But despite Samantha’s frosty relationship with her sister, who turned 37 over the weekend, Meghan is supposedly due to meet in secret with her father to try and make amends.

Samantha also claimed last week that Meghan had become cold since marrying into the British Royal family.

According to The Mirror, Meghan is said to be flying to the US next month to meet up with her father.

The former lighting director is said to be “delighted” and is “keeping two dates free at the end of the month”.
