Crown Princess Mary helmed the special guests as her national team Denmark took on England in the EURO 2020 semi-final.
But of course, she certainly wasn’t the only royal spotted getting into the spirit of things.
Sharing an update on the Danish Palace’s official Instagram page, Princess Mary, flanked by her husband Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and son Prince Christian stood before the Wembley Stadium field, ready for the game to unfold.
“Just arrived at Wembley!” The caption read.
Written in Danish, it translated to: “The togetherness has brought us here – and then let’s show them that we are not going home, but we are going on”

Mary, her teenage son Christian and Prince Frederik of Denmark joined in the evenings events.
(Instagram)Also at the big game was Prince William himself, who sat in the royal box in front of none other than soccer legend David Beckham.
William’s wife, Duchess Catherine was unable to attend the match after she was exposed to a person with COVID-19 last Friday. She has been self-isolating since.
Instead of Kate, William had David Beckham for a plus-one.
(Getty)Joining in the atmosphere was Princess Eugenie, who didn’t make it to the game itself, but showed her support from her popular Instagram account instead.
“Come on England…” She wrote after sharing a post from Prince Charles’ Clarence House on Instagram.
And indeed, the future King’s Instagram post revealed his own message of encouragement: “Best of luck to the #ThreeLions in your semi-final Euros match tonight! @England. From The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.”
Eugenie supported the national team via Instagram stories.
(Instagram)It’s likely that though not all of the royals were at the game in person, they were watching with vigour from afar.
Last week, seven-year-old Prince George himself joined Duchess Catherine and William for the final-sixteen fixture as their national team took on Germany.
We’ve no doubt Kate, eldest son George and possibly even her two younger children Charlotte and Louis were watching the game on television, yelling in delight with every goal.
