Wedding guests have begun to take their seats at Westminster Abbey as the long awaited wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton gets under way.
The guest list includes 1600 of fellow royals, dignitaries and the couple’s closest friends including Australian swimmer Ian Thorpe, David and Victoria Beckham and Elton John.
Prince William is set to arrive at 10.10am (7.10pm AEST) with Kate arriving 11am (8pm AEST).

Tara Palmer Tomkinson, is a friend of The Prince of Wales and his family.
