Prince William and Duchess Catherine are set to welcome their third little prince or princess any day now, and royal superfans are already taking measures to ensure they’re the very first to catch a glimpse at the darling tot.

A handful of diehard monarchists have begun to gather outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s hospital in London, where the Duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth to her third child this month.

Armed with flags, posters and masks and kitted up in Union Jack-themed ensembles, the royal baby watchers have come prepared. They’ve even brought along warm blankets and setup tents to combat the chilly weather — we’re talking lows of 10 degrees celsius.

Royal baby watchers have begun to gather outside the Paddington-based St. Mary’s Hospital in London.

They’re armed with costumes and royal paraphernalia as well as warm blankets and tents to combat the cold temperatures.

The countdown is well and truly on…

But it’s not just members of the public gearing up for the royal arrival…

Per People Magazine, there are now temporary parking restrictions in place outside the prestigious facility. The signs, now on South Wharf Road, restrict parking from April 9 to April 30 for an “event.”

What’s more, crowd barriers have also been erected to contain media and royal enthusiasts.

Take a look for yourself:

Temporary parking restrictions are in place outside the hospital, signaling the imminent arrival of royal baby number three.

Crowd barriers have also been set up outside the facility. That’s where media and fans will soon begin to gather in anticipation of the tiny royal tot’s arrival.

As previously reported, the staff at the hospital have also painted the railings outside the maternity ward.

And while this mightn’t seem like a big deal, royal baby watchers will know that’s where the royal couple will debut their third child to the world just as they did following the births of Prince George in 2013 and Princess Charlotte in 2015.

It’s also where Princess Diana debuted Prince William and Prince Harry – cute!

The fresh paint job is so the rail looks picture perfect come crunch-time.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have stayed pretty tight-lipped on the details surrounding their third child, other than confirming the new arrival is due sometime in April.

But there’s now speculation the beloved royal couple will soon welcome a baby boy, thanks to a slip of the tongue from everybody’s favourite royal dad.

Wills, 35, dropped the ball at the Aston Villa vs Cardiff City football game in Birmingham. There, he was pictured fist-pumping and cheering on his team, Villa, who beat the Welsh club one – nil thanks to a goal from midfielder Jack Grealish.

Following the match, the beloved royal took the opportunity to chat with fellow fans.

According to the Mirror, he told one supporter: “I’m going to insist the baby is called Jack”, before adding after a pause: “…Or Jackie.”

If you ask us, the knee-jerk response is incredibly telling… it’s definitely almost certainly very possibly a boy!

We can barely wait for royal baby number three!

To prepare royal watchers for Baby Cambridge, the royal couple have set up a website dedicated to Royal Baby updates, which you can follow here: https://www.royal.uk/baby

You can bet we’ll be watching with an eagle eye!
