Queen Elizabeth II stepped out in Scotland yesterday, looking resplendent in a lovely lavender coat and matching hat.
The 90-year-old monarch attended a Sunday service at Edinburgh’s Canongate Kirk, to the delight of locals who lined the streets to greet her.
Her Majesty seemed absolutely delighted with her reception, grinning broadly and waving to well-wishers as she walked into the historic church alongside Reverend Neil Gardner.
It was the Queen’s second day in Scotland – she spent Saturday formally opening the fifth session of the Scottish Parliament, choosing a crisp sea foam ensemble for the occasion.
