Just when we thought Queen Elizabeth II couldn’t be any more disarmingly charming, she goes and steps out in ever-so chic style while hosting some of the world’s most influential leaders at Buckingham Palace.

Welcoming all the heads of state from the Commonwealth countries to a banquet in London last night, the Queen, along with Prince Charles, Prince Harry, Prince William and Princess Anne, met the likes of Canadian PM Justin Trudeau and New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern into their palacial home – and these leaders were as impressed with the British royal family as we are!

William and Harry donning the sharpest of black-tie attire, the Queen sparkling in a high-shine tiara and diamond-andgenstone necklace, it’s fair to say that when it comes to putting on a regal event, this family certainly are dapper hosts!

PM Trudeau and the Queen are clearly happy to see each other!

Between sitting down to dine with dignitaries, the Queen had Trudeau smiling from ear to ear (as did Harry); she also greeted bump-showing PM Ardern with a brief chat and a warm smile.

Yep, even on the eve of her 92nd birthday, the Queen is as perfectly poised as ever!

Both looking beautiful as ever, Queen Elizabeth and PM Ardern share a tender moment ahead of their Commonwealth banquet.

Prince Harry and PM Trudeau have bonded over the love of the Invictus games in the past.

Chuckles having a chuckle with PM Trudeau.

Earlier in the day, for the first time in her decades-long tenure, the Queen announced that her son, Charles, will be the next Commonwealth Leader after she passes away.

As law dictates, just because Prince Charles will inherit the throne when his mother passes away or if she abdicates doesn’t mean he’ll be guaranteed to automatically become the new Head of the Commonwealth. In other words, the role is not hereditary.

And with that in mind, Her Majesty voiced her “sincere wish” that her son carries on the important work.

“It is my sincere wish that the Commonwealth will continue to offer stability and continuity for future generations and will decide that one day the Prince of Wales should carry on the important work started by my father in 1949,” she revealed.

Still… Long live the Queen!
