Princess Mary’s lookalike sister-in-law Marie

There’s no one quite like Princess Mary – except her sister-in-law Princess Marie.

Marie, who is married to the younger brother of Mary’s husband Frederik, is a spitting image of our Mary, with similar hair, mannerisms, clothing and even name.

Their striking similarities have even led Danes to joke that Marie, who married into the royal family four years after Mary, is something of a “single white female”, in reference to the 1992 movie about a woman who makes herself over in her flatmate’s image.

These pictures show how alike the two Danish princesses are.
