But now, the 48-year-old continues to make a stylish return to work.

On Monday, June 8, Princess Mary attended the opening of a new design museum called Holmegaard Værk in Denmark and turned heads in her elegant ensemble.

The royal opted for a pleated floral skirt, which she teamed with a white silk blouse and a pair of pastel blue pumps.

She completed her chic ensemble with a woven clutch, a pair of pearl-drop earrings and her trademark bouncy blow-dry.

At the event, Mary practiced social distancing as she met with several glass blowers and artists from a safe distance.

This marks Mary’s second public appearance since emerging from lockdown, with the mother-of-four visiting the visit the World Health Organisation’s European headquarters at the end of May.

The Danish Royal family went into isolation back in March, when her four children returned back to Denmark after their term studying abroad in Switzerland was cut short.

Despite being confined to their home, the family utilised their profile and assets by continuing to share encouraging updates about staying indoors to help stop the spread of the virus.

In fact, a rare, insightful family video was released from their home especially. It featured the whole family speaking about their experience with isolation and home schooling.

While in lock down, the royals also shared insight into their adapted evening routine.

Indeed in May, the Palace shared a new photo of Mary and Frederik watching a film on the couch with their feet up.

“A different and slightly more relaxed…well…a much more relaxed way to go the theatre,” the post was captioned.

“Sitting at home on the couch can of course never replace going to the theatre. But it’s still wonderful that we can have a theatre experience at home at this time. We wish everyone who, like us, are watching the Royal Theatre’s setup of Højskolesangbogen online, have a great time.”
