Crown Princess Mary is no stranger to a seriously well put together outfit – so when she stepped out on a crisp spring morning in Denmark, she knew exactly what to wear.
She’s been in a lockdown for the better part of 12 months, so in the event of stepping outside into the real world, one would be justified in wanting to wear their Sunday best.
Sharing some candid images of a glowing Mary to Instagram, the Danish royal palace explained her visit to showcase a new defibrillator in her city of residence, Copenhagen.
As patron of the Heart Association, Mary has helped in campaigning for the installation of more than 400 new defibrillators across Denmark – a very important milestone given an average of 14 people are affected by cardiac arrest in Denmark per day (and that’s just the people who aren’t near a defibrillator at the time).
In the Instagram update’s caption, the Palace explained Mary’s wish to install a defib in Copenhagen in a place with heavy foot traffic.
The newly installed defib she visited this week is located at the entrance to Amaliehaven – a small park located between Amalienborg Palace and the waterfront in the Frederiksstaden, known for its appeal to tourists and locals alike.
For the event, Mary wore a long dark wool jacket, with a peep of her pink blouse showing underneath.
The delicate crimped hemline and high-neck style shirt was the perfect addition to her wintry outfit.
Mary has been busy continuing to work throughout the pandemic – often via Zoom calls at home.
The future Queen has continued to bring her fashion game to the forefront with various on-point working from home outfits – with her unique finish.
Of course, while Mary’s exact crimped-hem shirt worn this week may be a little difficult to source, there’s nothing stopping us from finding similar styles that’ll look just as good.
