Princess Mary, 42, dazzled onlookers in a stunning navy blue satin gown with a sparkling jewel-encrusted collar as she attended the official Danish New Year’s diplomatic reception this week alongside her husband Crown Prince Frederik, 46.

The Prince looked very dashing too in full military regalia including a ceremonial sable hat.

The event, designed to honour of the members of the diplomatic corps, was hosted by Queen Margrethe, 74, and Prince Henrik, 80 at Copenhagen’s Christiansborg Palace.

The occasion follows a very opulent celebration at New Years with a VIP reception at Amalienborg Castle where the Aussie-born Princess stunned again – this time in a floor length white gown accessorised with a plush royal purple cloak and a jewel-encrusted tiara.

Princess Mary looked stunning navy blue satin gown with a sparkling jewel-encrusted collar as she and Prince Frederik attended the official Danish New Year’s diplomatic reception this week.

The event was designed to honour of the members of the diplomatic corps and took place at Copenhagen’s Christiansborg Palace.

Denmark’s Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik were the hosts for the event.

The event follows a banquet held on New Years hosted by Princess Mary and Prince Frederik at Christian VII’s Palace.

The Aussie-born Princess wowed in a floor-length white gown accessorised with a plush royal purple cloak and a jewel-encrusted tiara.

The Princess also stunned in her Knight of the Order of the Elephant collar – a ceremonial medallion reserved for special events. Prince Frederik meanwhile looked very dashing in full military regalia including a ceremonial sable hat.
