Royal alert!
Princess Mary of Denmark has jettisoned into Australia for the first time in five years with her royal brood in tow.
Alongside her husband Prince Frederik and children Christian, 17, Isabella, 15, and twins Vincent and Josephine, 11, Mary has been papped enjoying some time in Bondi for some well needed retail therapy.
Long-time friend and bridesmaid Amber Petty was also on hand for the outing.
Blending in with the crowds of busy Christmas shoppers, the family were effortlessly casual, many royal fans in their midst completely unaware that they were in the presence of European royalty and Australia’s own crown princess.
After spending some time in the Sydney sun the family headed south to Tasmania for Christmas where they spent time with Mary’s family.
It is presumed that they are residing at Government House in Hobart whilst in Tasmania as it is where they stayed during their last visit.

Following Christmas family festivities, Mary and her family were spotted by locals at a Boxing Day basketball game in Hobart.
The family were papped wearing merchandise from the local basketball team they were supporting, the Tasmania Jackjumpers who were versing the New Zealand Breakers at MyState Bank Arena.
When the visit was first announced by the Danish royal household in February, it was made clear that the visit would not be in any official capacity, the focus instead being on long awaited family time.
A statement from the royal household read: ”In December, the Crown Prince’s family will travel on a private Christmas holiday in Australia to celebrate the holiday with HRH, the Crown princess’s family.
”It has been five years since the Crown Prince and their four children last visited the Crown Princess’s homeland.”
Since marrying the second in the line to the Danish crown in 2004 in a lavish Copenhagen ceremony, Mary has been known to visit Australia at least nine times – four of which were official visits.
Prior to the pandemic, her entire family would make the pilgrimage to Australia at least every two years, but this did slow.
Mary’s last confirmed trip to Australia was in March 2022 when she secretly visited her friends and family down under without her children or husband in tow to celebrate her 50th birthday.
Frederik’s younger brother Prince Joachim and his family are also expected to spend the holiday season enjoying ”a long-planned trip abroad,” however, it’s unclear whether he will be joining Mary and Frederik in Australia.
