Crown Princess Mary of Denmark was greeted by a hoard of excited year eight students as she arrived at Guldberg academy in Copenhagen to participate in the Loving Measure event.

The initiative was launched by her charity, The Mary Foundationin 2010 and it is an outlet to give young people the tools to prevent violent relationships.

The 43-year-old smiled as the young students gave her a warm welcome, enthusiastically waving the national Danish flag.

The Aussie-native who was recently crowned the most fashionable royal, oozed sophistication in a chic silk black top, pleated cream midi-skirt, incredible round-toed snakeskin heels capped off with natural make-up and a sleek up-do ponytail.

The future Danish Queen took to the stage to make a presentation, where she spoke eloquently about her desire for a brighter future. She then went on to chat to attendees and students.

The Loving Measure initiative was launched after research concluded that in every primary school class in Denmark there are statistically two students who before the age of 24 years old will end up in a violent relationship.

The mother-of-four is incredibly passionate about creating a safe environment for the next generation and her foundation fiercely advocates to change these figures.

The charity have worked and developed teaching materials that will focus on the different types of dating violence that exist. It is their desire to make every student in Denmark equipped to build healthy relationships and prevent violence.

The Mary Foundation hope that the material will aid students’ abilities to handle difficult emotions and teach them how to create secure relationships.
