With her royal wedding only weeks away, it’s only natural that Princess Eugenie would be getting sentimental.
And lucky for us, the bride-to-be is sharing some of the gems she’s uncovered from her childhood with the world.
As a humorous Instagram throwback, the 28-year-old posted an adorable picture of herself and older sister Beatrice from her first day at school.

The image from 1994 shows the sisters posing for a photo in their blue school uniforms belonging to Upton House School in Windsor.
Clearly the excitement of going to school had worn off for Beatrice, who is seen frowning in the pic. Meanwhile, Eugenie’s cheesy grin is wide enough for the two of them.
In true sisterly fashion, Eugenie couldn’t share the funny image without a cheeky dig at Beatrice, writing: “Throwback to school days. Clearly I was more excited than Beatrice! #throwbackthursday.”
There’s no denying the strong friendship between the two sisters. The pair opened up in a rare interview with British Vogue in August, discussing their close bond with each other.

While the Princesses described each other as their ‘rocks’, they admitted they haven’t been exempt from the occasional squabble.
“One of the biggest fights we ever had was about a pair of Converse trainers,” Beatrice said.
“We have the same size feet and both of us had identical pairs. One pair got trashed and the other sister may have swapped them.”
