Ever since her October 2018 nuptials, the question on everybody’s lips has been – is Princess Eugenie pregnant?
Regardless of whether she steps out with husband Jack Brooksbank, royalists across the globe scrutinise the young royal’s mid-section, hoping that she is indeed, with child.
While the anticipation for news of another royal baby is certainly at an all-time high, a very important person in the princess’ life has weighed in on the subject, effectively setting the record straight.
Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, stepped out at a gathering at American businessman Ernie Boch Jnr’s house over the weekend, revealing that while it would be wonderful, her youngest daughter is not pregnant.
Captured by another guest at the event, Sarah was in charge of giving the toast to the man of the hour – Boch – revealing revelling in his philanthropic work.

Speaking about Eugenie, Sarah told the crowd about how her child had overcome scoliosis, and then married Jack “who sells Tequila for Casamigos which we love” – obviously drawing a few chuckles from the group.
“It makes me even more of a yummy mummy because I just drink the tequila and I don’t sell it,” she mused.
But it was her next anecdote which set the record straight.
“What else can I tell you? No, she’s not pregnant!”
“I’m just going through what the journalists say and they’re all here so I just thought you know, I’d just fill it in.”

“Yes, I do live in Royal lodge with my handsome prince,” she said, referring to her former husband, Prince Andrew, before adding, “who is the best looking prince of the whole darn lot.”
This is the first time that Sarah has publicly addressed her relationship status with the Duke of York.
While much speculation surrounded if they are indeed back together, she has never confirmed it.

“Who else has ever forgotten to congratulate their parents on their wedding anniversary?” she wrote in the caption.
“I’m a day late but I wanted to celebrate my parents getting married 33 years ago…”

Despite going their separate ways, the couple have remained great friends – and more recently, have stepped out together to attend public engagements.
In an interview with HELLO!, Sarah revealed that she and her former husband were a “solid unit”.
“A table goes best with four legs. A table can’t stand on three legs, really, so you have the Duke and I, and the two girls,” she told the outlet.
“We’re a family unit and we lead by example. We support each other emotionally, and we support each other health-wise. At least every two weeks we sit down together and communicate, the four of us.” Speaking about her role as a mum, she added: “I think the one thing I’ve done incredibly well – although I say it myself – is that I’m a really good mum. And I think that my girls show that.”
