We haven’t seen too much of Princess Eugenie lately, apart from her brief appearance at Ellie Goulding’s star-studded wedding.
But the tenth-in-line to the throne has jetted across the Atlantic for New York Fashion Week and took a moment to support one of her fashion designer friends, who has a link to some other members of the royal family.
Dressed in a chic black pantsuit, Princess Eugenie popped by Misha Nonoo’s pop up store in Soho and posed for photos with her designer pal.
Misha’s store will reportedly run for four months and other celebrity guests at the launch included supermodel Karlie Kloss, news anchor Gayle King and hotel heiress Nicky Hilton Rothschild.
And if you thought that Misha name rung a bell, you’re not wrong!
The fashion designer is also a close friend of none other than Duchess Meghan who was rumoured to have set up Prince Harry and the then-Meghan Markle on their first blind date.
According to The Evening Standard, Meghan and Misha first met through a mutual friend in Miami and bonded over their passion for gender equality and dogs.
“We were seated next to one another at a lunch, and we got along like a house on fire. I love her to death. She is the coolest girl in the world,” Misha told the UK publication.
When Harry and Meghan made their couple debut at the 2017 Invictus Games, Meghan’s crisp white shirt was one of Misha’s designs and the fashion designer also attended the Duchess of Sussex’s lavish NYC baby shower back in February. She was spotted carrying a large white gift bag from interiors company Rani Arabella into the hotel but we can’t disclose what her present was.
The pop up store isn’t the only sartorially-themed project Misha has on her plate this month.
In fact, she’s is one of the featured designers Duchess Meghan has enlisted to help create a capsule collection of women’s workwear as part of her work with Smart Works, a charity that helps vulnerable and unemployed women return to the workforce that is one of the Duchess’s royal patronages.
Along with Marks & Spencer, John Lewis and Jigsaw, Misha’s designs for the collection will be sold on a “one-for-one” basis, so with every item that is bought, another is donated.

As for Princess Eugenie, the royal will soon be celebrating her one year anniversary with her husband, Jack Brooksbank.
The 29 year-old tied the knot at St George’s Chapel in Windsor in a custom designed gown by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos that proudly showed her scars from her scoliosis surgery.
“[The dress] is the one thing that I was really decisive about,” she told Vogue UK ahead of her big day.
“As soon as we announced the wedding, I knew the designer, and the look, straight away. I never thought I’d be the one who knew exactly what I like, but I’ve been pretty on top of it.”
