Looking red-hot at the 75th Annual Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix Princess Charlene has given us all a lesson in track-side style.
Stepping out on May 28, the mum-of-two stunned in a flowing scarlet gown by Akris. She finished off her ensemble with a pair of shades, nude pumps and a slick of red lipstick.
And fans made the very astute observation that Prince Albert’s wife looked just like the red salsa dress emoji.
Charlene was at the prestegious event in a royal capacity, presenting the competition’s winner Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel his trophy.
The Grand Prix is considered to be the “crown jewel” of auto-racing, so of course Prince Albert gave it his seal of approval by going for a quick drive.
And his South African wife got the exciting spot of shot gun.
The 39-year-old former Olympian recently gave a rare insight into her life, speaking about her strong ties to her motherland of South Africa.
Charlene, who was born in Zimbabwe, spoke during a TV interview during an official tour of her former native country.
“I am African,” she told Eyewitness News, “this is my home. It will always be. It’s in my heart, it’s in my veins and it always will be. I can’t wait for them to come here. I can’t wait to introduce them to Africa.”
The royal also spoke of her little ones, two-year-old twins Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, “Actually, they’re really a handful!”
“They’re beautiful, they’re smart. Full of energy. I really hope that in the next couple of years I’ll be able to bring them to South Africa, that would be an amazing moment for me.”
